And, from the Nashville Zoo, lots and lots of flamingos. I was able to get quite close to these beauties and had the sun in the best position to get some beautiful shots.

When they begin to engage in territory battles they fluff their feathers up like this. You can see the variations of white and coral on this guy.
A flamingo skims the water for food, making pretty ripples in the sun. It's the shrimp in their diet that color their feathers.
I sat with the flamingos and long time until they relaxed and I managed to catch these two apparently lovin' on each other.
